Buy Online, Ship to Home
Placing an order online is easy. Simply add items to your cart, enter the Checkout, fill in your shipping and payment details, then place your order.
Depending on where you're located within Canada, shipping may take up to 10 days or as little as 3 days to arrive to your door step.
Buy Online, Pick Up In Store
The fastest way to get your order is to place it online and then go pick it up at your closest participating Source for Sports store. On the Product Details page, you can choose to pick an item up from a nearby store (if it is available) before you add it to your cart. You can also see if products in your order are available for local pickup in the cart, and choose to do so there. You will be notified that your order is ready for pickup once the store confirms availability - after which you will have 3 days to pick up your order.
Order In-Store
If you're inside one of our stores, ask one of our expert staff to help you place an online order or they can help locate the product in another location for you. Our team is always happy to help.
If you're wondering why you can't pick up a product at your local Source for Sports store, it might mean that the location doesn't sell this product or support that sport category. Each Source for Sports store across Canada is independent, locally owned and operated by a member of the community and their product mix is catered to the needs of their community. Next time you visit a Source for Sports store, our staff will be able to assist you to locate this item in another location or even order it for you for pick up at a later date directly through the vendor if they have an account with the brand.
Our Checkout process is easy and transparent - showing you where product may be coming from, and any shipping charges incurred (based on distance from the store and the size+weight of the products). You even have an option to pick it your order from a local Source for Sports store that carries the product. Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation summarizing your order. You will receive a second email once your order has been shipped, or is ready for pick up.
All orders are subject to shipping costs, which is estimated based on the products in your cart, and the distance between you and the nearest store(s) with stock. Qualifying orders receive discounted/free shipping - learn more about discounted shipping below.
Orders placed on sourceforsports.ca can be shipped anywhere in Canada.
Save more when you spend more at Source for Sports. Earn discounted shipping on orders when you spend $100 or more. The discount earned is based on the total value of products in your cart before tax.
The first $100 spent earns you a $10 discount off the cost of shipping on your order. For every additional $50 spent, earn another $5 discount towards the cost of your shipping, up to a maximum discount of $35. For example, a $250 purchase will qualify for a $25 discount off the cost of shipping.
If you don't see a shipping charge at checkout, then you have earned free shipping!
Shipping discounts can only be earned online on sourceforsports.ca. They only apply to your current cart at time of checkout, and cannot be banked, collected, refunded as further discounts, or transferred to future orders.
In a hurry or need something right away? Try our free in-store pick up option to purchase products online and get them as early as today at a participating Source for Sports store near you across Canada.
Here's how it works:
- Browse products on sourceforsports.ca.
- Once you have found an item you want to purchase, add the item to your Cart.
- Proceed to Checkout and you will have an option to select which products you can pick up at a local Source for Sports store for free instead of our shipping option. Then complete the checkout process.
- Once you submit your order, you will receive an Order Confirmation email detailing everything you have purchased.
- Upon receipt of your order, we will confirm whether or not the items in your order are in stock and available.
- Once our stores have confirmed your order, they will hold it for you for 3 days at the store's designated order pick-up area in the store. After 3 days, stores reserve the right to cancel your order and return the products back into inventory, in which case you will receive a full refund.
- You may receive a Cancellation email if your order cannot be fulfilled by the selected store, in which case you will receive a full refund.
- After you receive your Ready for Pickup email, go to the store to pick up your order. Please allow stores 2 hours to process your in-store pick up order. Also, make sure to bring your Order Confirmation and valid ID to confirm your purchase.
Please note, business days and store hours may vary across all participating locations. Check your local Source for Sports store hours before placing your in-store order. Curbside Pick Up is available at most locations. Contact store for details.
Ship to Home is a convenient service available on our website to customers where most items can be delivered to a specified address across Canada fulfilled by participating Source for Sports stores.
Here's how it works:
- Browse products on sourceforsports.ca
- Once you have found an item you want to purchase, add the item to your Cart.
- Proceed to Checkout and complete the checkout process.
- Once you submit your order, you will receive an Order Confirmation email detailing everything you have purchased.
- Upon receipt of your order, we will confirm whether or not the items in your order are in stock and available.
- Once our stores have confirmed your order, they will Pick and Pack your order and attach a Tracking Number to your order.
- You will receive an email when your order is ready for delivery, if your order delivery date is delayed, if your order was declined or has failed, or if your order is canceled.
- If your order needs to be fulfilled by multiple Source for Sports locations, you will receive multiple shipment confirmation emails, one for each store
- If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or does not arrive on the expected date, please contact the store delivering your order.
- All delivery and shipping fees will be shown at checkout.
There are shipping charges associated with Ship to Home orders. Shipping costs for orders are based on the weight of the total order. An order containing multiple items typically receives a volume-shipping discount and therefore your total shipping and handling cost may be lower than the sum of individual ship charges appearing in your cart. You will be provided with the total shipping cost for your order during checkout.
We typically try to ship orders from the closest store with inventory, and it is possible that multiple stores may need to ship individual portions of your order. We will occasionally ship your entire order from a further away location to minimize the number of individual shipments (and costs to you).
The delivery times shown during checkout are calculated based on the stores availability at the time of purchase. It is possible that we may need to re-route parts of your order to a different store, which can cause delays beyond the shipping estimate shown during checkout.
Our stores aim to have your products shipped by the next business day, though this can be delayed due to weekends and holidays. Once the postage has been purchased for your order, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, which will contain the tracking number for your order, which will allow you to track it on the particular carrier's website.
Average delivery times range from 3-7 business days for urban centers, up to 10-14 days for those ordering from more remote locations. Please note that elements out of our control such as courier delays, extreme weather, and holidays may affect our shipping times.
Canada Post is the only carrier that is able to deliver to PO boxes in Canada, meaning when you attempt to ship a package to a PO box, we are unable to offer lower rates from Purolator if they exist. If the PO box delivery is more expensive than the Purolator home delivery, we will let you know during checkout - we would then recommend updating the order to use your home delivery address.
Once the tracking information has been emailed to you, you can use the Purolator Virtual Assistant to request your package be brought to your closest Purolator location for pick-up, rather than delivered to your door. Simply open the Virtual Assistant and type: "Hold for Pickup", followed by the tracking number.
Many products in our store are subject to oversize/overweight shipping charges. We include these charges in the shipping estimate shown to you in the cart, so you don't have to worry about any additional charges appearing at the end of checkout.
When you pick up your order, or when it arrives to your home, you should immediately inspect your order. Carefully review the packaging as well as the contents of the package. It is normal for the package to show some wear; however, if damage did occur to the product, please contact the store where your order was picked up or shipped from, or contact our Customer Support Team by emailing support@sourceforsports.com or calling our Customer Hotline at 1-888-277-3555. Customer Support operates Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm EST but available via email anytime. Your email will be addressed in order of receipt. Please have your order number available when you call.
